Description: Responsibilities: The logistics employee is responsible for the complete handling of logistics tasks that ensure that goods and materials are efficiently and properly processed, stored and prepared for shipment. This includes the following activities: Material delivery and incoming goods inspection - Control of material deliveries in terms of quality and quantity to ensure that requirements are met. - Execution of goods receipt postings in the SAP system for the documentation and traceability of goods receipts. Storage and management of stocks - Storage and retrieval of goods in central storage areas, both in fully automated and manual warehouses. - Operation and monitoring of the automated storage machines and the complex conveyor technology. Picking and preparation for shipment - Picking of goods according to specifications for the fulfilment of orders. - Labeling and preparing items for shipment to ensure smooth onward transportation. Documentation and traceability - Archiving of all necessary documents to ensure full traceability of all goods transactions. Customer service - Competent contact person for internal customers with questions about stock levels, shipping status and other logistical concerns. Requirements: - Good knowledge of German (knowledge of English is an advantage). - SUVA-approved training for industrial trucks of categories R1 and R2 (required). - Experience in logistics of 2-3 years, ideally in dealing with SAP and automated warehouse systems.
